Make the Cut Event Policies

Participation & Assumption of Risk: Participation in Make the Cut involves physical activity, including dance technique, conditioning, and movement-based instruction. By registering, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical activity and voluntarily assume all risks related to participation.

Medical Authorization: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, D1Vision Dance Academy and event staff may obtain emergency medical treatment for the participant if a parent or guardian cannot be reached immediately. Any associated medical expenses are the responsibility of the participant's family.

Photo & Video Release: By attending Make the Cut, participants and parents/guardians grant D1Vision Dance Academy permission to photograph and record video during the event. Images and footage may be used for promotional materials, social media, marketing, and future event advertising without compensation.

Refund Policy: All registrations are non-refundable. Registrations may be transferred to another participant with advance approval from D1Vision Dance Academy. Event credits may be considered in the event of serious illness or unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of D1Vision.

Event Changes: D1Vision Dance Academy reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, event format, or other details if necessary. Every effort will be made to provide timely communication regarding any changes.

Participant Conduct: Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect instructors and fellow attendees, and maintain appropriate behavior throughout the event. D1Vision reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe without refund.

Personal Property: D1Vision Dance Academy and event staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Release of Liability: By registering, participants and parents/guardians release and hold harmless D1Vision Dance Academy, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, and guest faculty from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the event, except where prohibited by law.

Communications & Future Event Information: By registering for Make the Cut, participants and parents/guardians consent to receive communications from D1Vision Dance Academy regarding event details, future programs, educational opportunities, promotions, and other D1Vision updates. Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
